Your Point account uses one password for services such as My.Point.Edu, Point email, Microsoft 365, and other connected systems. Start with Microsoft’s self-service password reset using your Point email address. Complete the identity-verification prompts, create a new password, and allow several minutes for the change to take effect.
After changing the password, close any open Microsoft 365 or browser sessions and sign in again with your full Point email address. Update the saved password on phones, mail apps, and other devices so they do not continue trying the old password.
If the reset page will not verify you, your account is locked, or the new password still is not accepted after a few minutes, submit a request to the Point University Help Desk, itsupport@point.edu.
First confirm that you are using your full Point email address and your current Point password. A common cause is a browser or device continuing to use an older saved password.
Try a private or incognito browser window, then clear saved Point credentials if that works. If you recently changed your password, sign out of Microsoft 365 and other Point services before trying again.
Repeated attempts can temporarily lock an account. The Point University Help Desk can verify account status and restore access when self-service steps do not work.
Be cautious with unexpected links, attachments, password requests, payment instructions, and messages that create urgency. Messages from outside Point may display an external-sender warning.
Do not enter your Point password after following an unexpected link. Verify the request using a known phone number or a new message to the person involved. Report suspicious messages to the Point University Help Desk.
Sign in to your Point account and follow the prompt to register Microsoft Authenticator or another approved verification method. Keep at least two methods on the account whenever possible. If you replaced or lost your phone, do not approve unexpected prompts. Contact the Help Desk so the old method can be removed and your registration reset after your identity is verified.
Do not click links, open attachments, reply, or approve the authentication request. Use Outlook’s reporting option or forward the message to the Help Desk for review. If you entered your password or approved a prompt, change your password immediately and tell IT what happened. IT can review sign-in activity, revoke active sessions, and help secure the account.
Submit a Help Desk request with the software name, the computer or classroom where it is needed, and the academic or business purpose. Some applications require supervisor approval, budget approval, or a limited University license. IT will confirm whether the software is already available, arrange installation, or explain the purchasing and approval process.
Describe what you were trying to do, the exact error or behavior, and when it occurred. Include your Point email address, device type, building and room when relevant, and screenshots that do not expose confidential information.
One clear request with complete details is more useful than several duplicate tickets. Reply to the existing ticket when adding information so the full conversation stays together.
Choose the Skyhawk Student wireless network and click connect when prompted. Forget old or saved campus networks that repeatedly reconnect with outdated credentials.
Make sure the device date and time are correct and accept the security certificate only when it identifies the expected Point or Microsoft sign-in service. Personal routers and hotspots should not be connected to the campus network.
Microsoft may flag an account after an unusual sign-in, repeated failed attempts, or activity that looks different from your normal use. Treat the notice seriously, especially if you did not initiate the activity.
Change your Point password immediately, review your Microsoft 365 sign-in prompts, and deny any authentication request you did not start. Do not approve an unexpected MFA prompt.
Report the notice to the Point University Help Desk so staff can review sign-in activity and confirm that the account is secure.
Check the Junk Email folder, search for the sender, and confirm that the message was sent to your correct Point email address. Inbox rules, blocked senders, and a full mailbox can also prevent a message from appearing where expected.
Open Point email through Microsoft 365 in a web browser. If the message appears there but not in an app, remove and re-add the Point account in the app after confirming your current password.
The Point University Help Desk can trace delivery for a specific message when you provide the sender, approximate time, and subject.
The recommended method is the Microsoft Outlook mobile app. Add the account using your full Point email address, then complete the Point sign-in and MFA prompts.
Do not choose a generic POP or IMAP setup unless the Point University Help Desk specifically directs you to do so. If the phone repeatedly asks for a password, remove the account and add it again using the current Point password.

Educational Technology
10 FAQs
Canvas courses appear after registration information is processed and the course is published. A newly added course may not appear immediately, and a future course may be listed under All Courses before it reaches the Dashboard.
Check Colleague to confirm that you are registered, then open Canvas, select Courses, and choose All Courses. If the course is listed but not available, the instructor may not have published it yet.
Educational Technology can investigate when registration is correct and the course still does not appear after the normal system update.
Colleague confirms the official registration record, while Canvas receives that record through scheduled synchronization. Newly added or changed courses may require processing time. Sign out of Canvas, sign back in, and check All Courses. If the course is still missing after the expected synchronization period, send Educational Technology your student ID, course code, section, term, and a screenshot of the Colleague schedule.
Canvas may restrict an item by date, prerequisite, module order, section, or group. Read the message on the assignment and check the module for any required item that must be completed first.
Confirm that the due date and course section are correct. When the restriction appears to be unintended, contact the instructor because the instructor controls availability and attempts. Educational Technology assists with technical errors after course settings have been checked.
Check the quiz availability window, time limit, remaining attempts, and any required proctoring instructions. Close unnecessary browser tabs and use a reliable internet connection. Instructor-controlled dates and attempts can only be changed by the instructor. Educational Technology can investigate technical errors after the instructor confirms the quiz settings are correct.
Complete the required system check before the exam, use the supported browser and extension, and allow camera and microphone access. Restart the browser after installing or updating the extension. If the tool reports an identity, room-scan, or exam-setting issue, capture the message before closing it. Contact the instructor immediately when a deadline is near, and include the screenshot when requesting technical help.
Grades and feedback become visible only after the instructor posts or releases them. Open the assignment and review Submission Details, comments, annotations, and the Grades page. If classmates can see a grade that you cannot, or the posted score appears connected to the wrong submission, contact the instructor first. Educational Technology can investigate display or synchronization problems after the instructor confirms the grade was published.
Open the Microsoft Education area within Canvas and complete the Teams setup for the course. The Teams course connection must use the same Point account associated with Canvas. If an older Zoom link or mismatched email causes an error, remove the outdated connection and use the University’s current Teams process. Educational Technology can help instructors verify the course integration and meeting link.
Determine whether the access came from a trial, an eCampus purchase, or a publisher code. Trial access can expire even though the Canvas course remains active. For materials purchased through the Point bookstore, contact Point@eCampus.com with the course, title, and order details. For a direct publisher purchase, contact the publisher’s support team and copy your instructor when access affects coursework.
Send the course code, module or week, exact item title, and the link that no longer works. A screenshot is helpful, especially when the error appears only after signing in. Educational Technology or Instructional Design will determine whether the resource can be replaced, whether the course author must update it, or whether the instructor should provide an alternate activity.
Include the student or employee ID, course and section, term, and the specific record that appears incorrect. Educational Technology will compare Canvas with Colleague or Banner data and determine whether the issue is waiting on a scheduled refresh or requires a correction by the Registrar, Human Resources, or another office. Avoid submitting duplicate requests while a synchronization job is still processing.

Instructional Design
8 FAQs
Provide the official course code, section, term, instructor, and the source course that should be copied, if any. Instructional Design will verify that the section exists in Banner and then prepare or load the approved course content. Requests submitted before the section is created may need to wait until the Registrar completes the academic record.
In the sandbox, open Settings and choose Reset Course Content when you want a completely blank shell. This action removes the content in that sandbox and cannot be undone, so export or copy anything you need first. Instructional Design can assist when the reset option is unavailable or when you want a specific template loaded after the reset.
Identify the course, section, module or week, and the exact page, assignment, question, or resource that needs attention. Explain the expected correction and include replacement wording or files when available. Instructional Design will review whether the change can be made immediately or must be approved by the course writer, department chair, or academic leadership.
Tell Instructional Design how many groups are needed, whether students should be assigned manually or automatically, and which discussions or assignments are group work. The assignment must be connected to the correct group set before students submit. Request setup before the activity opens so group membership and grading are consistent.
Point University does not always receive instructor copies directly. Contact Point@eCampus.com with the textbook title, ISBN, course, and your mailing address if a physical copy is needed. The bookstore can request a desk copy from the publisher or provide the correct publisher contact. Digital instructor resources may require a separate publisher account.
Report the course, module, item title, and broken URL. Instructional Design will check whether the publisher moved the resource, whether an archived version is appropriate, or whether the course writer needs to select a replacement. Until the course is updated, the instructor should communicate an alternate activity or revised deadline to students.
Use the approved Canvas integration rather than pasting personal meeting links throughout the course. Confirm that your Point email in Canvas matches the account used by the tool. Instructional Design can add or enable the navigation item and help connect it to the course. Tools that have not been reviewed by the University may require accessibility, privacy, licensing, and security approval.
The Banner location, session, section, and instructional method determine how the course is scheduled and how related systems interpret it. Some online courses may display a lecture-related instructional method while the location remains ONLINE. Send Academic Operations the course and section when the official schedule is wrong; send Instructional Design a Canvas request when only the course presentation or content is incorrect.

Registrar
10 FAQs
Choose the transcript type required by the recipient and use Point University’s approved transcript request process. Enter the recipient’s name, email or mailing address exactly as provided. Check Colleague for holds or unpaid obligations that could delay processing. Contact the Registrar when a completed request has not been delivered, recipient details must be corrected, or the hold appears inaccurate.
The message shown in Colleague usually identifies the cause: a hold, missing prerequisite, required permission, time conflict, closed section, or registration window. Review your holds and the course details, then speak with your academic advisor about course selection or approval. Send the Registrar the full course and section plus the exact error when the academic requirements appear satisfied but registration still fails.
Start in Colleague and confirm that the change is still allowed for the current term or session. Discuss the change with your advisor because it may affect degree progress, financial aid, billing, athletic eligibility, or graduation. When the online option is unavailable, follow the Registrar’s required form or approval process. Continue participating until the change is officially reflected in your schedule.
Stopping attendance or Canvas participation does not complete a withdrawal. Speak with your advisor about academic consequences and with Financial Aid or Student Billing about possible financial effects. Submit the official withdrawal form before the applicable deadline and keep the confirmation. The Registrar will update the record after the required approvals and processing are complete.
Submit the graduation application by the published deadline and verify your degree, concentration, name, mailing address, and ceremony plans. Applying does not automatically confirm that every requirement is complete. Continue working with your advisor and review your degree audit. Contact the Registrar if your application is missing, your information is incorrect, or you have questions about diploma processing.
Use the appropriate academic change form and discuss the decision with your advisor. A move between online and on-campus study may require review by Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, and the Registrar because tuition, course availability, and program requirements can change. The new program is not official until the approved change appears in Colleague.
Before enrolling at another institution, obtain approval for the specific course and confirm how it will apply to your Point degree. Submit the transient coursework request with the institution, course number, title, term, and course description or syllabus when requested. After completion, arrange for an official transcript to be sent to Point University for evaluation and posting.
Begin with the instructor when the issue concerns attendance in a specific class. Provide the course, section, dates, and supporting information. The instructor or academic office may need to verify the record before the Registrar can change it. Contact the Registrar when the official enrollment or attendance record remains incorrect after that verification.
Submit the University’s record-change request and provide legal documentation when required, especially for a name change. Update your contact information promptly so official notices and documents are delivered correctly. Some changes may also need to be made separately in Microsoft 365, payroll, financial aid, or other systems after the Registrar updates the student record.
Compare the course code, section, session, meeting time, location, and delivery format in Colleague with the information provided by your advisor or department. Send the Registrar the complete details and a screenshot of the discrepancy. Faculty or staff requesting schedule corrections should identify the approved change and the academic office that authorized it.

Advising
8 FAQs
Review your degree audit and the courses you have already completed, then consider prerequisites, course rotation, and the number of credits you can manage. Your advisor can help prioritize required courses and recommend electives that fit your program. Register only after confirming the correct term, session, and section in Colleague.
Check whether another section, session, or approved course can meet the same requirement. Your advisor can review alternatives and determine whether a waitlist, substitution, or later term is appropriate. Do not register for an unrelated course solely to fill your schedule without confirming how it applies to your degree.
Course changes may still be possible depending on the session dates, available seats, and add/drop deadlines. Contact Advising as soon as possible with the courses you want to change and the reason. Your advisor will review the effect on your academic plan and coordinate with the Registrar when an official schedule adjustment is needed.
Contact the instructor first and explain the specific material or assignments causing difficulty. Use tutoring, academic support, office hours, and study resources as early as possible rather than waiting until the end of the session. Your advisor can help you evaluate your progress and discuss options, but withdrawing may affect financial aid and degree completion and should be considered carefully.
Discuss the new program with an advisor so you understand admission requirements, transferred credits, remaining coursework, and the expected graduation timeline. Complete the official degree or program change form after reviewing those consequences. The change becomes official only after it is approved and posted to your student record.
Please contact Advising before dropping courses or simply stopping participation. We can review whether a leave, program change, course withdrawal, or University withdrawal best fits your situation. We will also direct you to the Registrar, Financial Aid, and Student Billing so you understand the academic and financial consequences before a final decision.
Official transcripts must be received and evaluated before transfer work can appear on your Point record. Your advisor can explain where accepted credits fit within your degree plan, but the Registrar or academic evaluators determine the official equivalency. Courses that transfer as electives may not replace a specific major requirement without additional approval.
Your degree audit shows completed requirements, courses in progress, and remaining requirements based on your current program. Review it with your advisor, especially after a program change, transfer-credit evaluation, or course substitution. The expected graduation date is an estimate until all requirements are completed and the Registrar confirms eligibility.

Financial Aid
8 FAQs
Return to StudentAid.gov and continue the existing FAFSA for the correct award year rather than starting another application. Review the saved sections, resolve any displayed errors, add Point University’s school information, sign the form, and submit it. Financial Aid cannot edit the federal application for you, but we can help explain what to review after Point receives the FAFSA record.
Open the checklist and confirm that each document was uploaded to the correct requirement. A file may show as received or pending while staff review it, and an incomplete or unreadable document may be returned for correction. Allow normal processing time before uploading duplicates. Contact Financial Aid when the item remains unresolved near a deadline or the portal requests something you do not understand.
Review grants and scholarships first because they generally do not require repayment. Then review federal or private loans, the amount offered, and any remaining balance. Accept or decline each item as instructed and complete entrance counseling and the Master Promissory Note when required. Your award can change if enrollment, eligibility, housing, or outside assistance changes.
Aid may change because of enrollment level, course participation, verification, satisfactory academic progress, FAFSA corrections, loan requirements, or annual eligibility limits. Compare the Financial Aid Portal with your current Colleague schedule and student account. Contact Financial Aid with your student ID and the specific award when the amount is missing or different from what you expected.
Federal rules require students receiving aid to meet standards for GPA, completion rate, and maximum time to degree. If unusual circumstances prevented you from meeting those standards, follow the SAP appeal instructions and provide a clear explanation, supporting documentation, and an academic plan when required. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee approval, so watch your Point email for the decision or requests for additional information.
Provide the required eligibility documentation and identify the benefit chapter you plan to use. Point staff must certify eligible enrollment, but benefit approval and payment timing are controlled by the appropriate government agency. Contact Financial Aid or the University’s designated benefits contact before the term begins so documentation, certification, and any remaining balance can be reviewed.
Tuition and fees depend on your program, delivery format, number of credits, and applicable discounts or benefits. After registration, review your charges in the student account and compare them with accepted aid in the Financial Aid Portal. Financial Aid can explain your aid; Student Billing can explain charges, payments, and the remaining amount due.
Eligibility must be verified before a waiver or discount can be applied. Complete the required benefit process and provide the employee, partner, or program information requested by the University. Do not assume the benefit will automatically cover every fee or course. Financial Aid and Student Billing will confirm how the approved benefit affects your award and account balance.

Student Billing
6 FAQs
Sign in to the student-account area through Colleague and review the charges, credits, financial aid, and payments listed for the correct term. Select an available payment method or payment plan and save the confirmation. Contact Student Billing when a charge is unfamiliar, a payment is missing, or an account restriction remains after the balance has been addressed.
Financial aid may appear as pending until enrollment, attendance, verification, and other requirements are complete. Compare your Financial Aid Portal checklist with the aid shown on the student account. Financial Aid should address eligibility or missing requirements; Student Billing can explain how posted or pending aid affects the amount currently due.
A refund is created only after eligible payments and financial aid exceed the charges on your student account. Processing begins after funds are posted and required attendance or enrollment checks are complete. Review your account activity and refund preference. Contact Student Billing when the account shows a credit balance but no refund after the normal processing period.
Open the student-account portal and review the payment plans available for the current term. Choose the plan, pay any required enrollment amount, and confirm the scheduled payments. Plans may not cover past-due charges or late additions automatically. Contact Student Billing before a payment is missed if your circumstances change.
Use the student-account portal to retrieve the available 1098-T for the applicable tax year. Verify your name, address, and taxpayer information. Student Billing can review whether a form was generated and correct eligible institutional information, but University staff cannot provide personal tax advice. Consult a qualified tax professional for questions about claiming education benefits.
A billing hold usually indicates an unpaid balance, incomplete payment arrangement, returned payment, or another account requirement. Review the detailed account activity and notices in Colleague. After completing the required action, allow time for the hold to clear. Contact Student Billing if the hold remains or the underlying charge appears incorrect.

Admissions
6 FAQs
Sign in to the Point University application portal and review the status and checklist for the correct application. Submit every requested item and allow time for received documents to be matched to your record. Contact Admissions with your full name, application email, and the missing item when a document has been delivered but the checklist does not update.
Requirements vary by applicant type and academic history. Review the application checklist for transcripts, identification, test information, program-specific items, or other documents. Send official academic records through the approved delivery method. Admissions will notify you when additional information is needed to complete the review.
Confirm that the transcript was sent to Point University using the correct recipient information and that your name and email match the application. Electronic and mailed records require processing time. If the sending institution confirms delivery and the checklist remains incomplete, send Admissions the institution name, delivery date, and any confirmation number.
Complete the next steps shown in your applicant portal, which may include confirming your intent, submitting final documents, completing financial aid, and preparing for orientation or advising. Continue checking your Point email and portal because different offices will contact you as your student account and course planning are established.
Contact Admissions before submitting a second application. Provide your full name, application email, and the information that needs to change. Some updates can be corrected by Admissions, while changes to an official student record after enrollment may need to be handled by the Registrar.
Speak with Admissions and Advising before the change so we can confirm program availability, start term, housing or campus requirements, tuition, and the effect on your course plan. You may need to submit a program or degree-change form. The change is not complete until it appears in the University’s official systems.

Enrollment Support
4 FAQs
Reply with your full name, student ID, the message you received, and what you were trying to complete. Enrollment Support will identify whether the request belongs with Admissions, Advising, the Registrar, Financial Aid, or a partnership team and will explain the next step. Include screenshots and deadlines so the issue can be routed correctly the first time.
Confirm that you completed the requested action and allow normal processing time for connected systems to refresh. Avoid submitting the same form repeatedly because duplicate records can delay review. Send Enrollment Support the checklist item, completion date, and any confirmation when the status remains unchanged.
Send one message that summarizes the full situation, the offices already contacted, and any ticket numbers or responses you received. Enrollment Support can review the student journey and direct the request to the office that owns the next action. Clearly state any approaching start date, registration deadline, or financial deadline.
Include your full name, student ID or application email, program, intended start term, and the exact question or error. Attach screenshots but remove sensitive information that is not needed. Complete information allows Enrollment Support to resolve the request or transfer it without asking you to repeat the story.

Partnership Support
5 FAQs
Use the approved verification process for your partnership program and provide the requested organization and employment or membership information. The affiliation must be current and match the program under which you are enrolling. Partnership Support will contact you when additional documentation or confirmation from the partner is required.
Confirm that your name, email, student ID, employer or partner, and enrollment status are correct. Capture the full error message and do not create multiple accounts. Partnership Support can correct a mismatched record or explain whether Admissions, Enrollment Support, or the partner organization must update information first.
A partnership benefit may reduce eligible tuition, but it does not necessarily cover fees, books, prior balances, or every course. Complete affiliation verification first, then review your Financial Aid Portal and student account. Financial Aid determines aid eligibility, while Student Billing shows how the approved benefit and aid are applied to charges.
Contact Partnership Support and Advising before dropping courses or transferring immediately. We can explain the effective date of the change, whether current courses remain covered, and what options are available for future terms. Financial Aid and Student Billing should also review any effect on aid or outstanding charges.
For an incomplete Point application, contact Admissions. For affiliation or benefit verification, contact Partnership Support. For course selection, contact Advising; for registration records, contact the Registrar. Partnership Support can help coordinate the issue when the problem involves more than one of these steps.

Academic Operations
6 FAQs
First determine whether the material was purchased through eCampus, supplied by the publisher, or offered as a temporary trial. Collect the student names, course and section, textbook title, ISBN, purchase method, and error. For eCampus purchases, contact Point@eCampus.com. Academic Operations can coordinate course-level issues affecting multiple students and work with the publisher or bookstore.
Provide the course code, section, term, current listing, requested listing, and the academic approval for the change. Academic Operations will verify the schedule in Banner and coordinate with the Registrar when the official record must be updated. If Banner is correct and only Canvas is wrong, the request belongs with Educational Technology or Instructional Design.
Report the course, section, resource title, publisher or website, and the exact access problem. Academic Operations will determine whether the bookstore, publisher, course writer, or Instructional Design should provide a replacement. Faculty should communicate a temporary alternative or adjusted deadline when the outage affects active coursework.
Submit the full course and section information, the requested change, reason, effective term, and required departmental approval. Academic Operations will review the academic impact and coordinate the Banner, Registrar, and Canvas changes. Changes should not be announced as final until the official record is updated.
Send one consolidated request with the course and section, number of affected students, first observed date, screenshots or examples, and any troubleshooting already completed. This helps Academic Operations identify whether the issue is course design, publisher access, scheduling, Canvas, or a student-record synchronization problem and involve the correct teams.
For orders, access codes, shipping, desk-copy requests, and publisher coordination, contact Point@eCampus.com with the course, title, ISBN, and order details. Academic Operations can assist when the issue concerns the adopted material for a course or affects a whole section. Individual billing disputes should be addressed through the bookstore’s customer-service process.

Communications
5 FAQs
Submit the exact page address, final approved wording, requested change, audience, desired publication date, and the person authorized to approve the content. Attach properly sized images or documents when needed. Communications will review the request for clarity, accessibility, branding, and scheduling before publication.
Provide the purpose, audience, required dimensions or delivery channels, final text, event details, deadline, and approving department. Submit requests early enough for design, review, revisions, and production. Communications will confirm whether the request can be completed as proposed or needs to be adjusted to meet University brand standards.
Contact Communications and describe how the asset will be used, where it will appear, and the file format you need. Use only approved University marks and do not redraw, recolor, stretch, or combine them with other graphics without authorization. Communications can provide the correct version and usage guidance.
Send the page, post, sign, or communication containing the error and clearly identify the correct information and approving source. Mark urgent corrections involving dates, safety, admissions, or compliance. Communications will update content it owns or coordinate with the responsible department when the source information must be verified first.
Provide a concise summary, confirmed date and location, audience, contact person, registration details, approved photos, and the action you want readers to take. Communications will determine the most appropriate University channels and may edit the submission for length, style, accessibility, and brand consistency.

Facilities Maintenance
5 FAQs
Provide the building, room or exact location, a clear description of the problem, when it began, and photos when helpful. Submit separate requests for unrelated repairs so each can be assigned and tracked. Include a contact name and the best time to access the space when the room may be locked or occupied.
Call Facilities or campus emergency contacts immediately for active water leaks, electrical hazards, unsecured exterior doors, loss of essential building systems, smoke, strong odors, or any condition that threatens safety or property. You may also submit a written request for documentation, but do not rely on the ticket queue alone for an urgent condition.
Reply to the original request with the current condition, any change since the first report, and times when staff can access the area. Some repairs require an outside contractor, lift, specialty part, or weather conditions. Facilities will provide an update when the repair must be scheduled or completed in stages.
Treat an exterior or access-controlled door as a security issue. Call Facilities or campus security and provide the building, door location, and whether the door is currently unsecured. Do not prop the door open or attempt a repair that could damage the hardware. Submit a ticket as a follow-up record after the immediate notification.
Describe the room, item, and requested service, including the date and time when the space is available. Facilities can evaluate repairs, replacement, custodial support, or event setup, but availability depends on staffing, equipment, and condition of the item. Damaged furniture that cannot be safely repaired may need to be removed and replaced through the appropriate budget process.

Student Success
3 FAQs
Tell your instructor and academic advisor as soon as possible, then identify the specific courses, assignments, or circumstances causing difficulty. Student Success can help connect you with tutoring, academic coaching, study strategies, and other support. Early contact gives us more options than waiting until the end of a session.
Share the course, topic, and times you are available. Student Success will explain the tutoring or academic-support options currently available and how to schedule or join them. Continue communicating with the instructor because tutoring supplements the course; it does not replace attendance, participation, or required work.
Contact Student Success or your advisor and explain only the information needed to understand the academic impact. We can help you communicate with the appropriate offices and discuss available support. Official accommodations, withdrawals, attendance exceptions, or financial changes may require separate documentation and approval from the responsible department.
1.You will also need to submit documentation of your disability. This is usually in some type of report from a school psychologist, psychologist, psychometrist, licensed counselor, or medical information. The documentation should include evaluations, results of the evaluations, a label, and recommendations for accommodations. While we cannot use an old IEP or 504 plan from high school, you can include a copy of your last eligibility report as additional documentation. There is no limitation on the age of the documentation. Send the most current.
Once we receive both your application and documentation, we will develop your accommodation plan. The accommodation plan will be sent to your Point University email address from etrieve@point.edu. Please sign and submit the plan back to Student Accessibility & Accommodation Services. We will notify your instructors at the beginning of each semester of your accommodation plan for as long as you are enrolled as a student at Point University. If you have any questions or need additional clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us
